GMC’s flagship full-size SUV gets a fresh look for 2025, with notable updates both inside and out. While the exterior design has been subtly refreshed, the Yukon’s interior takes a significant leap forward.
It now features a redesigned lower dashboard for improved forward visibility, an advanced tech package with a standard 11-inch digital instrument panel and a 16.8-inch touchscreen, and optional heated, ventilated, and massaging seats for the first and second rows.
The trim hierarchy has been restructured, replacing the SLE and SLT trims with the new Elevation trim. A notable addition is the AT4 Ultimate trim, which blends the off-road capabilities of the AT4 with much of the luxurious equipment from the top-tier Denali Ultimate. This shift increases the base price to $68,895—$8,700 more than the 2024 SLT model.

Powertrains, Specs, and MPG
For 2025, the Yukon offers three engine options: a 5.3-liter V-8 producing 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, a 6.2-liter V-8 delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft, and a revised 3.0-liter Duramax diesel inline-six, which now generates 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque (an increase of 28 horsepower and 35 lb-ft).
All engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on Elevation and Denali trims, with four-wheel drive available for an additional $3,000 with gas engines or $3,150 with the diesel. The AT4 and Ultimate trims are exclusively 4WD.
