The 12th-generation Toyota Corolla has received an update in Europe for the 2025 model year. While the changes are relatively subtle, they include tweaks to both the exterior and interior. Sales are set to begin later this month, though pricing details specific to each market have not yet been disclosed.
Corolla remains available in three body styles—Hatchback, Sedan, and Touring Sports—offering a selection of ten paint colors. A notable addition to the palette is Metal Oxide, a red hue that is exclusively paired with a contrasting gloss black roof on the Hatchback and Touring Sports variants. For the Sedan, Metal Oxide can be chosen with either a matching roof or a contrasting black roof.

Toyota has made a small but noticeable revision by replacing the body-colored wing mirrors across all models with gloss black mirror caps as standard. Meanwhile, Mid+ grade models now ride on distinctive 17-inch alloy wheels, featuring a silver and machined black finish along with star-shaped center caps.
2025 Toyota Corolla Received Updates In Europe: Key Changes

Inside, Toyota has implemented a few updates, though they may not be major selling points for potential buyers. Similar to the CH-R, the 2025 Corolla now features a steering wheel and gear shift knob wrapped in synthetic leather. Mid+ grade Hatchback and Touring Sports models can also be optioned with new upholstery made from recycled fabric. Toyota describes this material as both “pleasant to the touch” and “durable.”
No modifications to the powertrain have been announced, suggesting that Toyota will continue to offer the Corolla in Europe with the existing hybrid powertrains. The 1.8-liter hybrid engine produces 138 hp, while the 2.0-liter variant delivers 193 hp. Lastly, the latest iteration of Toyota Safety Sense is now standard across all Corolla models.
