Hyundai wasted no time unveiling the all-new, second-generation Palisade three-row crossover SUV. Hot on the heels of the all-electric Hyundai Ioniq 9’s debut, the second-Gen Palisade was also introduced.
Unfortunately, North America won’t be the first to receive the latest iteration of the Palisade. The model was revealed in Hyundai’s home market late last year, with initial deliveries beginning there. Meanwhile, in the United States, the new Palisade remains out of reach. That’s unfortunate, considering its boxy design allows it to blend seamlessly with large American SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe.

Beyond its fully redesigned exterior and interior, notable updates include the introduction of a nine-seat configuration, where the front center console transforms into an extra seat when raised. Additionally, a new hybrid variant has captured the attention of South Korean buyers, many of whom have already placed pre-orders.
As expected, upon closer inspection, Hyundai appears to be fine-tuning the rugged XRT trim, potentially in preparation for its North American release. From what’s visible, the XRT variant features a revamped front bumper, a redesigned rear bumper, new side skirts, and compact 18-inch wheels ideal for all-terrain tires. If the spy images don’t provide enough detail, speculation from the digital car rendering community fills in the gaps.

For instance, the team at the AutoYa YouTube channel has taken note of the recently spied 2026 Hyundai Palisade XRT prototype. With the expertise of their in-house digital artist, they have crafted an unofficial CGI rendering of what the rugged crossover might look like. Much like the previous generation, the changes beneath the heavy camouflage aren’t difficult to predict—the 2026 Palisade XRT will likely incorporate enhanced body cladding, distinctive wheels, and beefier off-road tires, among other upgrades.
Once the foundational elements are set, the CGI specialist brings the concept to life, showcasing the speculative 2026 Hyundai Palisade XRT in a selection of premium color options. Additionally, they offer side-by-side comparisons with both the standard Palisade and the previous-generation XRT model.
