On Wednesday, Alpine France confirmed that production of the A110 will officially conclude in 12 months, bringing an end to an era for the mid-engine sports car.
To commemorate this milestone, Alpine is introducing special editions, including the newly unveiled A110 R 70 and A110 GTS, both of which also honor the brand’s 70th anniversary this year.
These latest models follow the recent debut of the A110 R Ultime, a flagship limited edition that serves as a farewell to the A110 lineup.

The A110 R 70, the final track-focused variant of the A110 R series, will be produced in a limited batch of 770 units. It continues to feature Alpine’s mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 300 horsepower, coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive—consistent across all A110 models. Performance upgrades include lightweight carbon-fiber body panels (including wheels), a high-flow Akrapovič exhaust system, and Michelin Cup 2 tires for improved grip. The interior showcases exclusive design elements along with 70th-anniversary emblems. Additionally, an ultra-exclusive R 70 Tricolor edition will be offered, finished in one of the three shades of the French flag.
2025 Alpine A110 GTS
Replacing the previous GT and S variants, the A110 GTS retains the dynamic chassis tuning of the S model. A major upgrade for the GTS is the availability of an aerodynamic package inspired by the high-performance R model. This kit includes a front splitter, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a rear wing, all contributing to improved downforce and stability. Like the A110 R 70, the GTS is powered by the same 300-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Orders for both models will open in May in markets where Alpine operates.
Originally introduced in 2017, the A110 marked the revival of the Alpine brand after a 22-year absence. While production is drawing to a close, Alpine has already confirmed that an electric successor will debut later this decade. This next-generation electric A110 will be part of a seven-model lineup, which includes the recently launched A290 hot hatch and the forthcoming A390 compact crossover.
Looking to the future, Alpine is preparing to enter the luxury performance SUV segment, aiming at competitors such as the Porsche Macan and Cayenne. This expansion is expected to be a crucial step in Alpine’s planned U.S. market debut, projected for 2027. Additionally, a high-performance supercar is in development.
