Geely Auto’s sub-brand, Geely Galaxy, has introduced the updated LEVC L380 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) with a substantial price reduction.
Geely Galaxy officially unveiled the updated L380 at an event yesterday, with a starting price of RMB 299,900 ($41,310). This marks a significant reduction of RMB 80,000, or 26.68 percent, compared to its predecessor’s initial price of RMB 379,900.
The L380 was originally launched on June 25, 2024, with four variants priced at RMB 379,900, RMB 439,900, RMB 479,900, and RMB 479,900, respectively.
Previously, the MPV was part of the product lineup of Geely’s London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). However, on March 3, Geely announced that Geely Galaxy had been upgraded from a product lineup to an independent brand and that LEVC was brought under its umbrella as a premium MPV range.

The updated L380 is now available in five variants with starting prices of RMB 299,900, RMB 369,900, RMB 399,900, RMB 449,900, and RMB 599,900.
The highest-tier Collector Edition variant is limited to just five units per month.
The updated L380 maintains the same dimensions as its predecessor, with a length of 5,316 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, a height of 1,940 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,185 mm.
The L380 is equipped with three battery pack options, featuring capacities of 100 kWh, 116 kWh, and 140 kWh. These enable a CLTC range of at least 570 km to 825 km.
The 140-kWh battery pack is a Qilin Battery from CATL (SHE: 300750), the same type used in Zeekr’s (NYSE: ZK) Zeekr 009 MPV.

This MPV offers six seats as standard, while the variant priced at RMB 369,900 also provides an optional eight-seat configuration.
The model comes standard with a single electric motor and offers peak power options of 200 kW and 400 kW, with corresponding peak torque figures of 343 Nm and 686 Nm.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in either 5.5 seconds or 8.9 seconds, depending on the variant.
Founded in 1908, LEVC became part of Geely’s portfolio when the company acquired a 20 percent stake in 2006 before fully taking ownership in 2013.
LEVC is best known for manufacturing London’s iconic black cabs and is one of Geely’s many brands, which also include Lotus, Zeekr, Volvo, and Polestar.
