Haval H6L
Haval, a marque under Great Wall Motor, has officially unveiled its all-new gasoline-powered mid-size SUV, the Haval H6L. The new SUV comes in four variants, with official guide prices ranging from 117,900 to 141,900 yuan (approximately $16,500 to $19,900 USD).
Powered by Great Wall Motor’s latest 2.0T engine and paired with a 9DCT transmission, the H6L also features a larger body compared to the current Haval H6.
The Haval H6L embraces Haval’s latest design language, highlighted by a full-width-style headlight cluster. The front fascia incorporates an open design reminiscent of a smiling mouth, while the rear showcases a layered look with split taillights and refined internal detailing.
Measuring 4800mm in length, 1895mm in width, and 1730mm in height, with a 2810mm wheelbase, the H6L is the largest model in the H6 series to date. Compared with the latest-generation Haval H6, it is 97mm longer and has a 72mm longer wheelbase (the current model measures 4703mm long, 1886mm wide, 1730mm high, with a 2738mm wheelbase).

Inside, the H6L offers three color options, a Head-Up Display (HUD), and a 14.6-inch central control screen. It also features Great Wall Motor’s third-generation intelligent cabin system, Coffee OS 3. Comfort and convenience are prioritized with heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, while the rear seats offer two recline angles, 27 and 32 degrees.
Under the hood, the Haval H6L is powered by Great Wall’s sixth-generation 2.0T engine, delivering 175 kW (235 hp) and 385 N·m of torque, mated to a 9DCT transmission.
The SUV reportedly accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and consumes 7.4L/100 km. A 1.5T engine option remains available as well. Advanced features include L2-level assisted driving and intelligent parking, capable of handling over 200 parking scenarios.
The Haval H6 has long been a sales standout for the brand. With the H6L’s 2.0T + 9DCT powertrain, the SUV addresses the performance limitations of the previous 1.5T models, appealing to drivers seeking a more engaging driving experience.
However, in an era where the golden age of traditional gasoline vehicles is behind us, it remains to be seen whether the H6L can reclaim the “legendary” status of its predecessor.
