Jaguar’s eye-catching Type 00 Concept has made its first real-world appearance, gliding through the streets of Paris in a striking shade of French Ultramarine.
Initially unveiled in the bold hues of Miami Pink and London Blue, the fully electric concept car was driven under its own power before making a high-profile stop outside a Paris Fashion Week venue.
The futuristic two-door coupe showcased its silver-accented lower body and distinctive alloy wheels, further emphasizing its cutting-edge design.
In a theatrical moment, the vehicle’s butterfly doors swung open as Irish actor Barry Keoghan stepped out from the passenger seat, adding to the spectacle. Later, Keoghan was seen sitting in the driver’s seat, further amplifying the media frenzy surrounding Jaguar’s latest design statement.

Jaguar’s Electric Future
While the Type 00’s public debut turned heads, Jaguar’s Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, has offered new insights into the brand’s first production model in its electric transformation.
Scheduled for a late 2025 launch, the upcoming four-door GT aims to translate the Type 00’s radical aesthetics into a luxury performance sedan.
Glover confirmed that the GT will push boundaries in aerodynamics, performance, and safety while preserving the bold styling that has sparked debate. The model is expected to achieve an impressive 692km range and deliver up to 735kW of power, potentially offering an exhilarating driving experience.

Jaguar’s development team has drawn inspiration from the brand’s iconic models, refining the EV’s dynamics to ensure it remains engaging over long distances. “Our objective is to create a car that delivers confidence at high speeds for extended periods while leaving the driver feeling refreshed,” Glover explained.
During testing at Jaguar’s Gaydon facility, the GT has already reached speeds of 258km/h. Glover, who personally pushed the prototype to its limits, described the experience as “stunning—not just in speed, acceleration, and performance, but also in how it delivers power with a distinct character.”
As Jaguar embraces an all-electric future, the Type 00’s daring design language is set to shape the brand’s next chapter.
Whether the upcoming GT will meet its ambitious targets and silence skeptics remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—Jaguar is making a bold statement, and the world is taking notice.
