Lucid Gravity Touring
American EV automaker Lucid Motors has officially rolled out the newest version of its flagship SUV, introducing the Lucid Gravity Touring earlier this morning. The model’s unveiling comes just ahead of its first public appearance at the 2025 Los Angeles International Auto Show, with initial customer deliveries slated to begin sooner than many expected.
Despite finally reaching the market, the Gravity SUV remains a major point of conversation, as its performance will play a crucial role in shaping Lucid’s future and determining whether the company advances to its third flagship model, known internally as “Mid-size,” which is anticipated to become its most affordable vehicle yet.
The Gravity’s launch journey has been filled with ups and downs. Preorders first opened in October 2024 with the Grand Touring trim, followed by today’s official release of the Touring variant. Deliveries for the Grand Touring were temporarily paused in early 2025 but resumed by March, and reports by August suggested sales remained only in the “three-digit range.”
However, the company did deliver several units to customers in Saudi Arabia and announced a substantial robotaxi collaboration with Uber and Nuro, which will incorporate at least 20,000 Gravity vehicles starting early next year.
By the fall season, facing a significant backlog of Gravity reservations, Lucid even opted to honor the expired federal EV tax credit on its own, further highlighting the model’s demand.
Because of that continued demand, discounts are no longer offered, yet production of both the Grand Touring and soon the Touring variant appears to be accelerating at Lucid’s Casa Grande, Arizona, manufacturing facility. During the LA Auto Show today, Lucid publicly showcased the Gravity Grand Touring just before the first customer deliveries begin.
According to the automaker’s latest press release following the Gravity Touring’s debut at Automobility LA 2025, the trim has officially launched with customer orders now open and immediate deliveries available “for certain configurations.”

As previously announced, the Gravity Touring begins at an MSRP of $79,900, placing it below the Grand Touring trim’s $94,900 starting price. While it remains among the pricier electric SUVs on the market, it is also one of the most luxurious and spacious options available, offering strong performance, long-range capability, and refined comfort.
The Touring’s full specifications were released alongside a statement from Lucid’s interim CEO, Marc Winterhoff, who said, “The Lucid Gravity Touring unlocks a new audience for the Lucid brand in the broad and critical SUV segment. There’s not another SUV in its segment that can deliver the combination of range, interior space, and driving performance found in the Lucid Gravity Touring.”
Lucid lists the Gravity Touring’s key specifications as including a dual-motor AWD drivetrain producing 560 bhp and 811 lb-ft of torque, powered by an 89 kWh battery featuring 700V+ architecture and a native NACS charging port. The model supports up to 300 kW DC fast charging on 1,000V infrastructure and up to 225 kW on 500V stations through boost charging.
The SUV delivers an EPA-estimated 337 miles of range and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in four seconds. Customers can choose between two-row seating for five or three-row seating for seven, with dimensions listing a 119.5-inch wheelbase, 87.2-inch width with mirrors, and 65.2-inch height.
The ground clearance measures 7 inches, with a 38.4-foot turning circle and a drag coefficient of 0.24. Curb weight varies slightly between the seating configurations, and total cargo volume ranges from 114.3 to 120.0 cubic feet, depending on layout.
Lucid also explains that the Gravity Touring’s platform enables the SUV to recoup up to 200 miles of range in as little as 15 minutes when charging at 300 kW on a 1,000V DC fast charger.
The company further notes that thanks to its NACS port and proprietary motor boost technology, the vehicle can charge at up to 220 kW at Tesla Superchargers, which now number over 25,000 across the US.
Beyond performance and charging, this latest Gravity variant features Lucid’s Clearview Cockpit, the upgraded Lucid UX 3.0 interface, and an available DreamDrive 2 Pro ADAS suite equipped with 32 sensors, offering buyers an advanced mix of luxury, technology, and versatility.
