Nearly two years after its initial unveiling, the Lynk & Co 08 is finally set to arrive in Europe. Scheduled for launch in June with a starting price of €52,995 ($55,600), this model will be offered exclusively as a plug-in hybrid. The best part? It delivers an impressive all-electric range of 124 miles (200 km), making it an attractive option for those eager to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.
The Lynk & Co 08 is built on the same CMA Evo platform that underpins other Geely models, including the Polestar 2 and Volvo XC40. While key specifications for the European variant have yet to be confirmed, it is expected to feature the same setup as its Chinese counterpart. That means a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 39.5 kWh battery pack, providing an electric range of 124 miles (200 km) and a total driving range of 683 miles (1,100 km).

In China, the Lynk & Co 08 is available in both front- and all-wheel-drive configurations, with the latter incorporating dual electric motors. However, it remains unclear which PHEV powertrain will be offered in Europe. What is confirmed is that the battery will support fast charging, reaching 80% from 10% in just 33 minutes.
Positioned in the highly competitive D-segment SUV market, the 08 distinguishes itself with a striking and unconventional design. Like other models from the brand, it features LED daytime running lights reminiscent of falcon talons, while the primary headlamps are integrated into a sleek strip just below the hood’s shut line. A black front grille and aerodynamically optimized wheels enhance both aesthetics and efficiency.
Lynk & Co 08 Takes the Crown for Europe’s Longest All-Electric Range in a PHEV

Viewing the 08 from the side reveals black wing mirrors, a contrasting black roof, and a bold black accent on the front door. Flush-mounted door handles maintain the streamlined look, a trend increasingly common in modern vehicles. At the rear, the futuristic styling continues with LED taillights, a light bar, and a sporty black diffuser.
Inside, the European-spec 08 is expected to mirror its Chinese counterpart, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 15.4-inch central infotainment display. The real showstopper, however, is the astonishing 92-inch head-up display—yes, you read that right—ensuring vital driving information is always within view.
European buyers will have two trim levels to choose from: Core and More. While exact differences between them remain undisclosed, it’s likely that Core caters to those who prefer the essentials, while More is for those seeking a fully loaded experience. Regardless of the trim, the Lynk & Co 08 is packed with cutting-edge technology—and if you ever feel overwhelmed, that 92-inch head-up display is there to keep you on track.
