Brand and Market Position
Founded in 2017, Lynk & Co is a joint venture between Geely Auto and Volvo Cars. In November 2024, Zeekr announced a series of transactions that secured it a 51% controlling stake in Lynk & Co. These transactions were finalized in February 2025.
The Lynk & Co 900 is set to compete in the growing large SUV segment, facing rivals such as the Aito M9, Li Auto’s Li L9, and the Denza N9. Additionally, Nio’s sub-brand Onvo is preparing to enter this competitive space with its second model, the Onvo L90, which is scheduled for unveiling in the second quarter and an official launch in the third quarter.
