2026 Rolls Royce Spectre
The name Rolls-Royce is virtually synonymous with the concept of luxury, representing a tier of ultra-luxury motoring. Regardless of whether one’s refined preferences lean towards the Cullinan, the Ghost, or the Phantom, each model delivers the pinnacle of quiet and comfortable transportation.
The brand’s electric Spectre coupe, however, advances this principle a step further by incorporating a truly silent electric powertrain.
A dual-motor electric setup provides all-wheel drive and an output of either 577 or 650 horsepower, contingent on the specific model selected. Acceleration is delivered with effortless ease, though one should not anticipate the Spectre to handle corners with the agility of the world’s premier sports coupes.
This two-door automobile is intended primarily for relaxed, sophisticated cruising. For those seeking a similarly luxurious experience complemented by greater athleticism, a model from Rolls-Royce’s primary rival, Bentley, is worth considering.
The Spectre is not anticipated to receive any major alterations for the 2026 model year. The price of the 2026 Rolls-Royce Spectre is projected to start at approximately $398,000 and can rise to $468,000 based on the selected trim and optional equipment.
Rolls-Royce affords buyers the opportunity to customize a Spectre in almost any conceivable way. This is a significant benefit, as with a price point this substantial, purchasers will undoubtedly desire a truly personalized vehicle.
The standard Spectre is equipped with a dual-motor electric powertrain generating 577 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Our test drive confirmed that this provides more than adequate power to move the substantial coupe with authority. The Black Badge variant receives a significant increase, delivering 650 horsepower and 793 pound-feet of torque.

While sharp impacts from the road surface are still perceptible, Rolls-Royce has fitted an adaptive suspension system designed to ensure a properly isolated ride over all but the most severe road imperfections. Engineers have also incorporated a massive amount of sound-deadening material to preserve a whisper-quiet cabin environment.
The Spectre features a 102.0-kWh battery sourced from the BMW i7. It is estimated to provide a driving range of up to 253 miles per charge when equipped with 23-inch wheels. Selecting the smaller 22-inch wheels increases the maximum range estimate to 277 miles.
Our test vehicle, fitted with 23-inch wheels, delivered an impressive 260 miles in our real-world highway range test. DC fast-charging capability is standard. However, it is presumed that most Spectre owners will install a charging system at their private residences, thus avoiding the need to use public charging stations like the general populace.
The EPA has not yet released official fuel economy data for the 2026 Spectre. The 2025 model achieved ratings as high as 74 MPGe in the city, 82 MPGe on the highway, and 77 MPGe combined. MPGe, which stands for miles per gallon equivalent, is an EPA metric used to estimate the fuel efficiency of plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles.
The Spectre’s cabin accommodates four occupants with individual bucket seats in both rows. Those familiar with Rolls-Royce’s current interior design will recognize a similarly sybaritic environment, though the company has introduced several features unique to the Spectre.
However, it is easily accessible via a power-operated trunk lid and should provide sufficient space for a weekend’s luggage. Every Spectre comes with a touchscreen infotainment system integrated into its meticulously trimmed dashboard. A digital gauge cluster is also standard.
The technology is seamlessly incorporated into the interior design, ensuring it does not detract from the overall ambiance. An available Bespoke Audio stereo system includes aesthetically pleasing aluminum speaker grilles.
Rolls-Royce includes several driver-assistance features as standard equipment, such as automated emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. Consistent with the rest of the Rolls-Royce lineup, the Spectre is covered by a four-year warranty and maintenance package that is not limited by a specific mileage.
